PriceMotion has four different types of charts.
First Chart is a Bar Chart . A bar chart displays a security's open (if available), high, low, and closing prices. Bar chart is the most popular type of a security chart.
The top of each vertical bar represents the highest price that the security traded during that period, and the bottom of the bar represents the lowest price that it traded. A closing "tick" is displayed on the right side of the bar to designate the last price that the security traded. If opening prices are available, they are signified by a tick on the left side of the bar..

Second Chart ia called a Line Chart , it's much more simple. Line Chart naturally tells us less than bar chart, but gives a clearer picture.
The single line represents the closing price of each day. Dates are displayed along the bottom of the chart and prices are displayed on the side. |

Third Chart, Candlestick Chart is appearing by default, when you first start the program.
Candlestick charts display the open, high, low, and closing prices in a format similar to modern-day bar chart, but in a manner that extenuates the relationship between the opening and closing prices. Candlestick charts are simply a new way of looking at prices; they don't involve any calculations.
Each candlestick represents one period (e.g., day, week,.) of data.
The highest price ("upper shadow")
The opening or closing price, whichever is greater
The center section ("real body") is filled-in if the close is lower then the open. Otherwise, it is left empty.
The opening or closing price, whichever is less |
